How drops work

Every kill gives one loot roll (a boss gives one to every player who damaged it and is nearby). Each roll goes through these steps, in order:

  1. Rebirth pill: 0.5% (5% for bosses), only for monsters of level 60 and up. The pill is picked from pills whose required level is within 3 of the monster's level.
  2. Stone: 0.25% + 0.0175% per monster level, at most 3% (25% for bosses). A stone replaces a pill from the same roll. See stone tiers.
  3. Book, only if the roll has no item yet: 0.5% + 0.01% per level, at most 2% (10% for bosses), from that monster's book list.
  4. Equipment, only if the roll still has no item: 2% + 0.02% per level, at most 5% (50% for bosses), from weapons, armor, hats, shoes, shields, rings and necklaces whose required level is within 3 of the monster's level (not hammers).
  5. Jeon, separately: 20%, 15 to 16 Jeon per monster level.

So each roll drops at most one item plus Jeon. The chances on monster and item pages already include these steps: they are the chance per kill of that exact item. Within a kind, every item on the list is equally likely, except stones, which are weighted by tier. A monster with a custom drop list uses only that list, and custom rates if it has them.

A boss is a world boss (every spawn) or a spawn whose name tag says Boss.
